Preparing For Your Puppy
You have to be very thorough when you bring home a puppy. Look into the breeds that interest you and see if they're a good fit. At Meadow Pond Puppies, we raise Toy Poodles, Cavapoos, and Mini Poodles. These are all family-friendly dogs. You can find more information on these breeds in the "Breeds" section of this website. Don't hesitate to ask questions! We've been raising puppies for 15 years, so we know a lot about these breeds.
Secure Your Adoption
If you feel good about your decision to adopt a puppy, find the one that's right for you! We have our available puppies and puppies ready to adopt online. You can also call us to talk about any puppy you may be interested in. When you call, you can put down a deposit to make sure that the puppy is yours. The deposit is $200 and non-refundable. This easy process can be repeated for each new family member you'd like to bring home.
Get Your Puppy Home
Our puppies can be adopted at eight weeks of age. Same-day pickup is even available if you live close enough. Each puppy goes home with:
Your final, full payment is due at the time of adoption. If you don't live nearby, we can arrange to have your puppy shipped. We know this makes some customers nervous, but we've had great success shipping our puppies due to our high standards of care.
Because traveling can be stressful for puppies and expose them to germs, we recommend an additional wellness check. Each puppy we ship travels with food and papers. All other information will be attached to the crate.
Start a Life With Your New Puppy
Now that your new puppy is home, it's important to establish a routine. Puppies need consistency, and this is a good time for light training. Your puppy will need time to get used to you and the new home. Be patient and consistent. All puppies are unique, and settling in will be different for every family. You may want to consider other training options to give your new puppy better control over themselves as they integrate into your family.
